Remanufactured and Recontrolled Barber Colman 16H and 14H Specifications:

Standard Features

  • Hob slide assembly will accomodate a 6" x 7" x 2" bore hob and allow for
  • Crowning, double cutting, radial/tangential worm gear cycles
  • 5th axis hob shifter can be programmed for tapered splining
  • Hydraulic nut hob arbor provide precision hob location
  • Precision ball screws and slide surfaces which are lubricated by an automatic system
  • NUM 1060 five (5) axis controller with conversational programming which is specifically designed for gear hobbing.
  • Machines are designed for use with water soluble or oil based cutting oil

   Optional Features

  • Part load/unload automation
  • 6th axis
  • GE Fanuc CNC package
