Bourn & Koch manufactures the 20-4 Fellows Gear Shaper with a Fanuc 0i-MD CNC control standard. Each machine is CNC-controlled with servo-motion control for easily achieving high tolerances. Our conversational HMI guides the operator through the gear shaping process, reducing specialized training required to run the machine. Designed to cut both internal and external spur and helical gears, each 20-4 Fellows Gear Shaper is a versatile tool crafted by precision machine tool builders with decades of experience.
The 20-4 offers the same high-quality features as the Fellows 10-4 with added capacity for gears up to 504mm in diameter. This allows the user to shape large diameter gears with a face width of up to 101mm. Advanced optional features such as CNC stroke length and position allow for full control over the gear shaping process!
